Martin J Eaton, PhD

Founder, CEO, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Specializing in neuropsychology for children and teens, I received my PhD in clinical and educational psychology from the University of Southern California, where I was also an associate professor. I founded Well Family in 2003 and have provided clinical psychology and educational support services for kids, teens, and families in Orange County and adjacent areas for over twenty years.

Registered Psychological Associate

I am a Registered Psychological Associate with over 10 years of experience working with children and adults. I have supported individuals with developmental disabilities as well as those with neurotypical cognitive profiles.

My work focuses on helping individuals strengthen their interpersonal and social skills so they can pursue their goals with the right support. My clinical modalities include play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and family therapy. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology, and I look forward to continuing to grow my experience in Neuropsychology.
I enjoy spending my free time with family and volunteering with local organizations that serve underserved communities.

Registered Psychological Associate

I am a registered psychological associate and obtained my master’s in clinical psychology from Fuller in 2024. I am currently working to finish my PsyD program at Fuller. I have experience working with individuals with trauma, anxiety, depression, autism & ADHD in therapy. I also have experience conducting assessments for autism and ADHD. I am passionate about providing quality care to my clients so they can thrive in their unique contexts. In my free time, I enjoy surfing and playing pickleball.

Parenting Coach

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley and a Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California. After practicing law for several years and taking time to raise three children, I have returned to psychology. I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at The Chicago School. As a Parent Coach, I support families with distressed children and help them better manage the many challenges of parenting we all face.

I am a dedicated cognitive trainer and academic coach at Well Family. Devoted to working with children, I combine enthusiasm with a strong work ethic to support students’ academic growth. At just 16, I graduated from Acellus Academy with a 4.0 GPA. I am currently pursuing a degree in Educational Sciences with aspirations of becoming an elementary teacher. Committed to fostering a love for learning, I strive to empower young minds through engaging and effective educational strategies.

I started my journey at Ohio State, getting a degree in political science. I was interested in researching media effects and focused on how social media impacts voter perceptions, which was a relatively new topic in 2017. From there, I moved on to a master’s degree in communication studies, which led me to getting my M.F.A in screenwriting and production. Throughout my education, I have always had a passion for teaching and helping students. This led me to Well Family, where I help people of all ages. In my free time, I enjoy cheering for my favorite NHL team, reading, and traveling.

I am a cognitive trainer and academic coach at Well Family. Through years of community work and ABA experience, I have gained a stronger passion for working with others to help them achieve their goals. With this enthusiasm, I was able to graduate a year early with my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology-Social Work. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and traveling.

I am a passionate employee and innovative thinker with years of experience in Cognitive psychology. Born and raised in Yorba Linda, CA., I developed an early interest in psychology and cognitive training. After earning a degree in Psychology, I came to work full-time at Well Family. My leadership and enthusiasm have led to many successful outcomes for our clients. Beyond business, I like spending my free time with family and friends. I also enjoy hiking with my dog, reading, and working out.

Executive Director

Shortly after completing my psychology degree at Cal State Fullerton, I joined Well Family in 2009 as a cognitive trainer and executive assistant to Dr. Eaton. After some time away supporting a NIMH-funded research team at UCI School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry, I returned to Well Family in 2012 as Executive Director. I enjoy the varied aspects of my role, from supporting our talented and compassionate client-facing staff to managing our business development. We are so fortunate to have amazing clients, and I am continually impressed by their strength, resilience, and kindness.
